A few days ago, the Cologne/Germany based group “Hop Spot” released their latest CD “Frankie Manning – Let's Do The Hop“.
Hop Spot and Frankie Manning
Since 2006, Esther & Bernd from Hop Spot organize Lindy Hop events in and around Cologne.
They were lucky to take classes from Frankie Manning and it's their goal to spread Frankie's love for the dance and share his spirit with the new dancers.
The idea of the CD was to find people, who were close to Frankie, and compiling music that was closely linked to him.
With their help, Esther & Bernd managed to put together a collection of 19 songs that remind them of Frankie.
Profit Goes To Frankie Manning Foundation
This is a non-profit project: 100% of the profit from selling this CD goes to the Frankie Manning Foundation and helps to continue growing Lindy Hop.
