In September, I wrote about the new album release by The Spicy Pickles and now, only 3 months later, everything is new about the band including the release of an EP.
Bandleader Joe Smith just moved to Denver to reform the band and he wrote me in an email:
This is just 5 rehearsals in with the new band members and I actually only met the clarinet player the morning of the recording session. I'm really excited about what we have coming up.

This EP is all uptempo songs (except for one), and the goal is to release 3-4 new EP's over the next year with different themes and tempo ranges for dancers.

My Personal Opinion:
I like the idea of different EPs with different themes, although I have the feeling that this first EP was created a little bit in a rush. However, it's solid swing music.
