Hello!
Welcome to Swing DJ Resources and thank you for stopping by!
Swing DJ Resources is here to teach you, to update you, to entertain you and to inspire you as a Swing DJ.
One year ago, I started “DJ Chrisbe‘s Swing DJ Resources Email List” to share my knowledge and my ideas about Swing DJ'ing with everyone who was interested.
My goal was to send out one or two emails per month with relevant content.
In my first email after signing up, I asked each of my subscribers what they are interested in.
Something stood out pretty soon: There are many dancers and music lovers out there who are either in a new or small dance scene and just started DJ'ing because there was no one else doing it. These people asked for tips and advice for beginners.
Beside that, the large majority of the subscribers is looking for music tips, followed by general advice for Swing DJs and software tips & reviews.
I realized that the form of an email list is not the right medium to share the requested topics.
There must be a hub where everyone can just take what he/she needs, and where anyone who is interested can share their knowledge.
The idea of the Swing DJ Resources website was born.
Here we are now! And this is just the beginning.
If you like the idea too, then I hope you'll sign up for free updates from Swing DJ Resources.
You can also connect with us on Twitter, Facebook and RSS.
Thanks for joining!

Excellent Idea. I’ve been involved in DJ sessions of Funk and R&R sessions. From several years ago, we have a new dance community in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Basque Country, Spain), and I’m playing for them, with the help of another DJ, specialiced in R&B. We are used to play Dixieland, 30’s swing, R&B, Neoswing,… trying to make sense in each session. I will try to contribute.
