I realized that when I'm writing about new album releases here on Swing DJ Resources then songs from those albums never get featured in the Song of the Week series.

That is really too bad. Let's change it.

One song I have spun quite often lately is

Dickie's Dream

As the band states, this recording (and the other four on the album) are samples because they didn't get a chance to make a studio recording yet.

Nevertheless, it's a wonderful tune with a good sound quality.
