About Fizz Jazz
Taken from their website:
Fizz Jazz is a brazilian band of traditional and swing jazz. At their performances, Fizz Jazz plays standards and also original compositions, always with enthusiasm and energy.
Fizz Jazz is formed by Alexandre Hage (piano), Beto Grangeia (bass), Cleber Guimarães (banjo and guitar), Jeremias Bernardo (trumpet and vocal), Fernando Lima (drums and washboard) and Pedro Morais (clarinet, saxophone and vocal). The compact line-up of Fizz Jazz allows great shows anywhere.
In addition to bars, theaters and private events, the sextet also performs in the streets of São Paulo, attracting jazz lovers and people who have never had contact with the music style.
In 2017, Fizz Jazz released their first EP, “Ao Vivo no Estúdio” (or “Live at the Studio”). The album contains an original song entitled “Sunday Swing” and some Jazz classics, including ‘Basin Street Blues’, famous with Louis Armstrong and ‘Cantina Band’, by John Williams.
